For New Milford Residents only, the Borough provides a curbside recycling collection program every Thursday, Borough-wide, alternating between commingled (bottles, cans, plastics) and paper/cardboard collection. Please see 2019 Recycling/Garbage Calendar for schedule.
Calendars are mailed to all residents during December of the preceding year. Replacement Calendars are available at the DPW office & the Borough Clerks office as well as online.
New homeowners are provided with one recycling container, free of charge. New homeowners receive a Welcome Bag which contains the slip entitling them to a free can. Replacement or additional recycling cans may be purchased at the DPW Office, M-F 7:30AM-3:00PM, for a cost of $16.00 each and an additional $5.00 for lid. Please make checks payable to "Borough of New Milford".
